Pilot Truck Driver Challenge Championship Program Outline Checklist

The Pilot Truck Driver Challenge is a program for the NASCAR Sprint Cup truck drivers to compete and win a $50,000 grand prize along with second place ( $15,000 ) and third place ( $10,000 ) cash prizes. The Challenge is a Pilot Travel Centers safety initiative program. The program consists of chicanes, DOT checks and DOT quizzes along with Payback card visits and charity bonuses. Below is an outline of what these truck drivers are judged on throughout the year.

  1. Bullet4 Chicanes: You must compete in three out of four chicanes

  1. Bullet5 DOT Checks: All DOT checks are kept as confidential information ( Charlotte, NC is the location of our DOT check )
